6 Momoland members, including Nancy, terminate contract with MLD Entertainment

All active members of girl group Momoland have ended their exclusive contracts with their current agency.

According to a report by Xports News on January 27th, Momoland Nancy‘s exclusive contract with MLD Entertainment has recently expired. The artist and company decided not to renew the contract and separate in peace, cheering for each other in the future.

Meanwhile, on the same day, MLD Entertainment released an official statement, saying, “After long discussions with Momoland (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, Nancy), we respected each other’s opinions and agreed to terminate the exclusive contract upon the expiration of the contract period.” 

On the other hand, Momoland is currently promoting as a 6-member group, including Nancy, Ahin, Hyebin, JooE, Jane, and Nayun. The group originally debuted with a 7-member lineup, before Daisy and Taeha were added. Then, after the departure of Taeha, Yeonwoo, and Daisy, the group was reorganized into a 6-member lineup.

Momoland, which gained huge popularity with songs such as “Bboom Bboom” and “Baam”, is now drawing attention for their activities in the future.
