53-year-old Uhm Jung Hwa reveals makeup secret “If you put on too much makeup, your wrinkles will be emphasized and you will look older”

Singer-actress Uhm Jung Hwa revealed her makeup process.

On July 28th, a video titled “Are you curious about Uhm Jung Hwa’s skin care and makeup?” was uploaded on Uhm Jung Hwa‘s YouTube channel “Umaizing Uhm Jung Hwa TV”.

Standing in front of the camera with her bare face, Uhm Jung Hwa revealed her skin care routine, “I’ll show you my usual skin care routine in detail.” Uhm Jung Hwa, who meticulously put on basic makeup, also revealed her makeup process.

While applying foundation, Uhm Jung Hwa emphasized, “If you put on too much makeup, your wrinkles will be emphasized and you will look older. So, the point is to lightly apply a little bit of concealer. Makeup should never be thick.” Besides, Uhm Jung Hwa taught viewers how to make shading makeup, “You should shade not only the jawline but also the neckline.”

Uhm Jung Hwa also shared an interesting story about actor Kim Byung Chul, who acted together with her in JTBC’s drama “Doctor Cha” while putting on eyebrow makeup. Uhm Jung Hwa caused laughter by saying, “Kim Byung Chul bought an eyebrow pencil at a duty-free store on our way to Vietnam. Actors sometimes do their own makeup. That’s why eyebrow pencil is a must-have item, but it was funny to see Byung Chul choosing it in front of a cosmetics store.”
