In addition, in the MV, the Red Velvet members also impersonate many other paintings such as Woman with a Parasol, Madame Monet and Her Son and Wheatstacks (End of Summer) by Claude Monet, Ophelia (John Everett Millais), The Swing (Jean-Honoré Fragonard).

Blood Sweat & Tears (BTS)

Accordingly, Blood Sweat & Tears is inspired by the novel Demian by author Hermann Hesse. Watching the MV, fans can’t take their eyes off the lively and attractive images that the BTS members portrayed.

My House (2PM)

2PM created a stir when they released the hit “My House“. The MV for “My House” impresses viewers with how different fairy tales are intertwined in a smart and engaging way.

The Red Shoes (IU)

The album Modern Times shows off IU’s diverse and unique musicality. The title track “The Red Shoes” and its MV gains the most attention because it is influenced by the fairy tale of the same name written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. In the song, IU wears a pair of red shoes that make viewers think of Karen in the original story, a peasant girl who is forced to dance in her red shoes without stopping.

Heart Attack (Chuu/LOONA)

In 2017, Chuu (LOONA) released the song “Heart Attack” with a cheerful and vibrant melody, but the MV tells a heartbreaking story. The MV is an adaptation of the legendary fairytale The Little Match Girl by Hans Christian Andersen. In the MV’s final scene, Chuu suffers from the same sad ending as in the story when all three matches are burned out one by one.
