3 FIFTY FIFTY members continue to criticize Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon “Lack of transparency and trust”

Girl group FIFTY FIFTY expressed additional criticism towards Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon

On Oct 18th, FIFTY FIFTY members Sio, Saena and Aran shared their thoughts on Attrakt’s prepayment structure on Instagram. They wondered why the agency should pay off Company S’ prepayment liabilities without any specific reason, as it’s common sense not to cover another company’s debt. They were curious about the amount and the nature of the relationship in settling prepayments.

The members went on to say that they inquired about how Company S used the prepayments for FIFTY FIFTY and how much needed to be repaid. Still, the agency didn’t provide a clear response but merely stated that the members misunderstood the prepayment structure.

In this statement, FIFTY FIFTY members raised issues regarding the distribution of their revenue, asserting that it is not transferred to Attrakt but directly to Company S. They emphasized that they did not agree with this revenue structure.

The three criticized the lack of transparency and trust, stating that it is not a problem that their agency is a small/medium-sized enterprise but rather the transparency and trust are essential.

They angrily complained, “Did you at least tell the members or even ask for our consent regarding important matters, such as reimbursement of S company’s advance payments or the actual digital and physical revenues?”, adding “While making deals with the members as a guarantee, did you consider our thoughts and let us know about everything?”.

FIFTY FIFTY opened an Instagram account and has been exposing CEO Jeon Hong-joon. The members claimed that they were forced to work despite poor health conditions and pointed out the agency’s poor management. The group also confessed that they felt insulted when being forced to say false information in front of investors.

The data released by FIFTY FIFTY this time are said to have been used in their application for an injunction to suspend exclusive contracts. Unfortunately, the court rejected their injunction application.

In fact, the dispute between FIFTY FIFTY and Attrakt recently took a new turn. Member Keena withdrew her appeal against the contract suspension injunction request and reconciled with CEO Jeon Hong-joon. Accordingly, the other three members will continue proceeding with the appeal without Keena.
