According to Yang Hyun-suk, 2NE1 will hold concerts starting in early October in Seoul, followed by performances in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, in late November and December. He mentioned, “We need to adjust additional schedules moving forward. I believe this concert will be very special. The generation that grew up with 2NE1 will share these memories together. Since they have many hit songs, we will work hard with all the staff to create a successful concert.”

The members of 2NE1 also celebrated their 15th anniversary full group comeback. Sandara Park wrote on her personal SNS on the same day, “What’s up We’re 2NE1. WELCOME BACK, #BLACKJACKS #2NE1 #YG #WELCOME_BACK.” Gong Minzy similarly increased the anticipation for their comeback by posting “No.21 HOME. NOW #YGBABY.”

2NE1, who debuted in 2009, gained immense popularity among global K-pop fans with numerous hit songs, but officially ended group activities in November 2016. They later made headlines by appearing as a full group at the largest music festival in the U.S., ‘Coachella,’ in 2022.
