2023 MAMA completed Day 1 after announcing all winners of Bonsang Worldwide Fans’ Choice Awards
The 2023 MAMA Awards is held at Tokyo Dome in Japan, the dream stage of many artists, on November 28th and 29th. The host of this year’s awards ceremony is singer Jeon So-mi.
The lineup of performing artists on Day 1 includes TVXQ, (G)I-DLE, SEVENTEEN, ATEEZ, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, Enhypen, El7z Up, RIIZE, Zerobaseone, BOYNEXTDOOR, Kep1er, Xikers, NiziU, and “Street Woman Fighter 2” Dance Crews, etc.
The first day announced the results of several categories, including Favorite New Artists, Bonsang Worldwide Fans’ Choice Awards, and special awards.
In particular, RIIZE and Zerobaseone won Favorite New Artists. After Worldwide Fans’ Choice (Bonsang) was given to a total of 10 artists, MAMA announced BTS as the winner of Samsung Galaxy Worldwide Icon of the Year (Daesang). In addition, TVXQ was honored with Inspiring Achievement.
