Recently, Song Hye Kyo posted a set of photos taken with her puppy Ruby as a gift to her fans. It is known that Song Hye Kyo cherishes Ruby like her “own child”. She even took Ruby with her when she had a long schedule abroad. Ruby is also often taken to the set by Song Hye Kyo or participates in gatherings of her friends. Song Hye Kyo also confided that Ruby is a source of mental encouragement to her in her most difficult times.
Song Hye Kyo welcomed Ruby at a time when she had just divorced Song Joong Ki. As an animal lover, Song Hye Kyo described that Ruby came to her unexpectedly and quickly became her closest friend.

It’s easy to put things off because I don’t like going for walks alone but now I need to take Ruby out every day. Walking in the park, enjoying the beautiful scenery, jogging and having time to do those things every day makes me more comfortable. I often stay at home, do aerobics, and then do this and that and it’s time to feed Ruby. Additionally, Ruby gets up at 7am and I also need to get up earlier, so the day passes quickly,” Song Hye Kyo said.
