Gong Yoo and Song Hye-kyo to Co-star in Historical K-drama by “Our Blues” Writer?
An upcoming K-drama project from the screenwriter of “Our Blues” may be able to gather Gong Yoo and Song Hye-kyo.
On April 24, Management SOOP, Gong Yoo’s agency, stated to media outlet OSEN, “It is true that we have received a proposal for a new work by writer Noh Hee-kyung. We are currently considering it”.
Writer Noh Hee-kyung has mainly written K-dramas focusing on characters’ emotions, humanism, and heartwarming romance, with notable works including “Our Blues,” “Worlds Within,” “That Winter, the Wind Blows,” “It’s Okay, That’s Love”, among others.
Noh Hee-kyung’s upcoming work, which Gong Yoo is considering, is known to be a historical drama. It will be directed by director Lee Yoon-jung, who worked on “Coffee Prince” and “Cheese in the Trap”.
As actress Song Hye-kyo is also positively reviewing Noh Hee-kyung’s new work, attention is focused on whether she will co-star with Gong Yoo.
So far, expectations are rising for their potential collaboration and chemistry.
