Yun Yeo-jeong is spending the rest of this year in the US with her beloved ones following her departure from Hook Entertainment

The messy exit was due to her dissatisfaction with the agency. 

According to SPOTV News, on December 8th (KST), Yoon Yeo-jeong decided to leave for the United States this month and stay there to spend the rest of this year.

The renowned actress recently concluded an exclusive contract with Hook Entertainment and is planning to leave for the United States this month to spend the year-end period with close and loved ones and to rest her mind and body. From the beginning of next year, Yun Yeo-jeong is set with a hectic filming schedule for the season 2 of the original Apple TV+ drama “Pachinko”.

Hook Entertainment initially denied the departure rumor, but once the news broke out, the agency admitted to the veteran actress’ exit: “”Our contract with actress Youn Yeo Jung, who we have been with since March 2017, has been terminated.” 

The reason for this exit was that Yoon Yeo-jeong had been greatly disappointed with the company after it was seized and searched by the Major Crime Investigation Division of the National Police Agency last month, and no explanation was given about the reason or background of the raid.

Following Yoon Yeo-jung, Lee Seung-gi, who has been in conflict over the settlement of music-related revenue, recently notified Hook of the termination of his exclusive contract, raising the possibility that the ‘Oscar winner’ and ‘the Crown Prince of the Entertainment World’ will leave Hook one by one.
