At the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Award 2021, Yoona had the honor to be nominated for Best Actress for her part in Miracle: Letters to the President. This marked the second time Yoona received a nomination for Best Actress at this prestigious film award.
Notably, Yoona is the first and only female idol-turned actress to be nominated for Best Actress in the history of Blue Dragon Film Award. Although she did not win, Yoona still took home another deserving award, Popular Female Star. These achievements have helped Yoona assert her position as an actress in the industry.
On the upcoming December 29, Yoona will reunite with the audience on the big screen in the movie Happy New Year featuring a star-studded cast.
