SBS’ “Running Man” will soon mark its 600th episode.
“Running Man,” which began its first broadcast in July 2010 and has become a representative entertainment on Sunday, has been loved as one of the longest-running variety shows in Korea and a representative of K-entertainment that has been drawing attention overseas.
“Running Man” has celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020, and will mark the long-awaited 600th episode on April 24th. In this episode, the theme will be a special race with viewers. In the filming for the 600th episode, the members were thrilled, saying, “It has been 12 years for 600 episodes,” and Yoo Jae-seok expressed infinite gratitude on behalf of the members, saying, “Thanks to the production team who supported us, we’ve come to 600 episodes.”
In celebration of the 600th episode, the recording was organized into a “With You” race with viewers. In the first part of the special episode is a “Q&A” time to answer questions from viewers honestly, and in the second part is a “role play” corner where they had to act according to the concept specified by a specific viewer.
Earlier, the production team of “Running Man” has collected questions for the “600th episode’s viewers Q&A” through comments on its official Instagram and YouTube channels, with a total of more than 10,000 comments, promising a richer “600th episode’s Race” thanks to the enthusiastic interest and love from viewers. The members did all their might the race when they heard that it was a race made with viewers’ opinions and that they could donate up to 10 million won in the name of the final winner.
However, the heartwarming moment was brief, and the members started showing their unchanging “12-year chemistry” in the 600th episode by holding a series of dissing about each other’s fashion from the opening.
In the final mission, Yoo Jae-seok challenged the solo mission with support from the members. Yoo Jae-seok, a “game allrounder character,” also became quiet and sweated under his philtrum because he was nervous. “Running Man” 600th episode anniversary race will air at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 24th.
