YG’s “maknae” TREASURE expressed their pressure when being the company’s first group to make a comeback this year
YG Entertainment’s rookie boy group TREASURE had an online press conference to promote their album “The Second Step: Chapter One”.
Coming back with a new album after 1 year and 1 month, TREASURE is the first YG artist to come back this year. Member Jihoon shared: “I didn’t even think about it. I was so excited to prepare for this comeback, but everyone around me was talking about it. There was a lot of pressure and anxiety, but I accepted that you guys have high expectations. I prepared very carefully.”
The male idols also showed their determination to achieve the goal for this comeback. Yoshi said, “I would say that our goal is to get 1st place on a music show.”
Bang Ye Dam added, “A lot of times I’ve dreamed of winning #1. Last year, the leader prepared a victory speech, but we came in #2. This year, we’re going to get a win. I will work harder to make that dream come true.”
