YG Entertainment kept its promise to make the entire building right across from the new building an independent space for fans.
On May 31, YG announced that they will open the SameE. It’s a project space that connects fans and artists. ‘The SameE’ will start operating from June 1.
Located in front of the main gate of YG’s new building in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul, a cafe, MD shop, and event and exhibition facilities have been established here where you can drink or relax. It is a project that started with the theme of “Another Self of an Artist is a Fan“. The name “the SameE” also implies that it is a space where fans and artists can stay and rest at the same time and place.
The concept of The SameE revolves around ‘Alter Ego’. It’s an aim of YG Ent to understand worldwide views of fans and artists to strengthen their ties.
In September of last year, YG delivered the news of the relocation to the new office building. YG also received attention because it is preparing separate facilities for convenience and culture for fans.
“We decorated an independent space in the front building with a panoramic view of the new building. Fans who visited the artist will be able to use various amenities indoors without suffering from cold and heat. We plan to continue to share the idea that artists exist by fans, and fans are another self of artists through ‘The SameE’ space”.
