Worrying about her junior actor Song Kang, Park Min-young suggested “this game” during the first meal of the cast
Actress Park Min-young mentioned his collaboration with fellow actors, including Song Kang, in the interview to celebrate the end of her drama.
On April 7th, Park Min-young conducted an interview with various media outlets, such as News1 and OSEN, after the drama “Forecasting Love and Weather” ended. On the same day, Park Min-young was asked about her collaboration with co-star Song Kang.
In response, Park Min-young smiled and said. “I was worried that Song Kang would consider me a great senior, so I invited them to have a meal together first”, adding, “Four of us (Park Min-young, Song Kang, Yoon Park, and Yura) altogether suggested that we should talk to each other informally. We even set the penalty for anyone who doesn’t follow it”
The actress added, “I think we should buy a coffee truck for Yura when she films the next drama”. She continued, “Through such games, we were able to lower the wall and communicate with each other better. Song Kang also began to talk more casually and shared many conversations and stories with me”, adding, “If we were too difficult with each other, we might not be able to communicate and make such great scenes”, expressing her thoughts on acting.
Park Min-young revealed her secret as a “rom-com goddess”, saying, “I don’t care much about the senior-junior relationship so I just told the other to be comfortable with me”, adding, “I think that’s why the scene of two of us came out beautifully”.
Park Min-young is a veteran actress with 18 years of experience. She debuted in 2005 through SK Telecom’s “JUNE” advertisement and began acting in earnest with MBC’s sitcom “High Kick” in 2006. Song Kang has been building his career since he debuted as an actor in tvN’s 2017 drama “The Liar and His Lover”.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Forecasting Love and Weather”, which drew enthusiastic responses since the release of its teaser, ended on April 3rd. Telling about the work and love life stories of people working at the Korea Meteorological Administration, which is hotter than tropical nights and more unpredictable than local heavy rains, this drama was greatly loved by the viewers.
