The new slice-of-life drama “My Liberation Notes” starring Kim Ji Won has aired its first episode.
On April 9th, episode 1 of JTBC and Netflix’s “My Liberation Notes” was released. The drama centers on the lives of three siblings, Yeom Gi Jeong (Lee El), Yeom Chang Hee (Lee Min Ki), and Yeom Mi Jeong (Kim Ji Won).
The 3 Yeom siblings live in the suburbs of Seoul in a family that is not well off. Therefore, they face many difficulties and often feel worn out by the tedious repetition of adulthood. Because he doesn’t have a car or a good job and is labeled a “country guy”, Yeom Chang Hee’s girlfriend breaks up with him.
Meanwhile, the eldest sister Gi Jeong is surrounded by loneliness as she struggles to find a partner. While drinking, she says that she is going to fall in love with just anyone.
As for the youngest sibling Mi Jeong, who is an introvert, she has difficulty fitting in with other people at her company. Mi Jeong is not happy with her current job and life.
