Kim Do-yeon of the group Weki Meki recently got a wrist injury. Weki Meki’s agency Fantagio said on November 10th, “She suffered a wrist injury during last week’s schedule. She immediately visited the hospital and was diagnosed with a ‘left arm wrist fracture’ after a close examination by the medical staff.”
The company then explained, “She will take outpatient treatment and sufficient rest according to a specialist’s opinion, which says that she needs to wear a cast and protector until recovery. We plan to decide whether she should proceed with the 5th mini-album activities after watching the recovery process.”
Lastly, the agency said, “We ask for your understanding as the sudden news has caused concern, and we will continue to consider the health of the artist first and do our best to help the artist recover quickly.” Meanwhile, Weki Meki will make a comeback by releasing its fifth mini-album “I AM ME” through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on November 18th.
