According to Wavve on Dec 23rd, “Weak Hero” aired simultaneously on Rakuten Viki (through KOCOWA in the Americas), Amazon (+a), Comcast, ROKU, iQIYI USA, iQIYI Taiwan…, creating a great sensation. In addition, Rakuten Viki, a platform specializing in Asian content, additionally confirmed broadcasting the work in Europe, Oceania, the Middle East and India following the Americas.
“Weak Hero” not only topped the list of Wavve’s paid subscribers immediately after its release but also ranked first for 4 consecutive weeks in the “OTT topicality” drama/series category, which was announced by Good Data Corporation.
Overseas reactions were also hot. Aside from iQIYI USA and iQIYI Taiwan, it recorded a rating of 9.9 on the “Rakuten Viki” service released through KOCOWA in the Americas. Recently, it was named one of “the best Korean dramas of 2022” by Forbes and “the best K-dramas of 2022 you must watch right now” by TeenVOGUE.
