Viewers have mixed reactions to the male characters’ “corny” styling in “Tale of the Nine Tailed”

Lee Dong Wook, Kim Bum, and Younghoon have all gotten questionable styling in two seasons of “Tale of the Nine Tailed”.

Tale Of The Nine Tailed 1938” is season 2 of “Tale Of The Nine Tailed”, continuing the story of the two gumiho brothers Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) and Lee Rang (Kim Bum) as the story is set in 1938.

Season 1 once received mixed reactions to a past appearance of Lee Yeon. That’s when Lee Yeon appeared in a pink Hanbok and long hair styling, making the nine-tailed fox look like an “auntie”.

In season 2, it’s Kim Bum’s turn to have a long hairstyle. Many viewers say Lee Rang looked better in season 1.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed” production crew seems to have an attachment to dressing male characters in pink Hanbok. After Lee Dong Wook, it’s The Boyz’s Younghoon in season 2. In the latest teaser, even though it’s just a side view, viewers have the feeling that Younghoon seems to resemble Lee Dong Wook’s auntie appearance from season 1 with a pink Hanbok and long hair tied up.

Younghoon will only make a special appearance but his role will be important. His character appears when Lee Rang is seriously injured and Lee Yeon asks him for help. He agrees with Lee Yeon, requiring him to bring something to exchange for Lee Rang’s life. However, the item that he wants is in the place that Lee Yeon calls “the worst place.” This dialogue in the teaser makes viewers very curious about the fate of Lee Yeon and Lee Rang.
