A prediction about “The Glory” Part 2 based on the details of the teaser poster of Part 1 is drawing attention from fans.
Netflix’s original series “The Glory” depicts the story of a revenge plan carefully designed by a woman whose soul has been broken due to the experience of school violence in high school and those who fall into the revenge whirlwinds. It has drawn keen attention since the pre-production stage as Song Hye Kyo’s comeback work written by famous screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and directed by Ahn Gil Ho.
Pointing out the first teaser poster, which was released before the official broadcast, after watching Part 1, some fans of the drama are analyzing the symbols in the poster.
First of all, the large moon and sun are seen on both sides of the poster in a mysterious atmosphere, drawing attention. What catches the eyes of viewers is that only the moon is shining on Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo). The moon and the son give the symbolic feeling of the white night and the polar night mentioned in the story.
Moon Dong Eun is seen sitting under a large tree with not only flowers but also several objects hung onto it. In particular, the objects, which are tied to the branches, leave a strong impression as they remind viewers of the characters in the drama.
The first thing that stands out the most is the green shoes. According to “The Glory” Part 1, Son Myung Oh (Kim Gun Woo) was murdered and the culprit was revealed in a flashback scene as a person wearing green shoes.
The green shoes featured in Part 1 are also used as a device to expose the fact that Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon)’s daughter Ye Sol is colorblind. It is an object that belongs to a teacher that stood by and watched Moon Dong Eun’s school violence, who later became a target of her revenge. In particular, the teacher took off his watch before hitting Moon Dong Eun, and his son later wore it. It can also be confirmed that the blue shopping bag in the right corner belongs to Siesta, a select shop run by Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon).
A sharp surgical scalpel can be seen hanging from the branch directly above Moon Dong Eun.
