Update the list of 10 Kpop MVs to reach 100 million views fastest: BTS’s ‘Permission to Dance’ is under expected
How will the ranking of the 10 K-pop MVs to reach 100 million views fastest on YouTube change after BTS with ‘Permission to Dance’?
One of the important marks of any music MVs is the number of 100 million views. This is a number that shows the MV has really grabbed a lot of attention, and the faster it gets, the more influential the artist is proving to be on the YouTube platform. In the battle for the fastest 100 million views, this battle is still led by BTS and BLACKPINK.
Most recently, BTS released the MV ‘Permission to Dance’ at 13:00 on July 9 (KST). This MV officially got 100 million views at 5:09 pm on July 11 (KST). This is a good achievement for BTS, but it is reported to have not reached the expected speed. According to the fans’ point of view, because ‘Permission to Dance’ was released quite recently and was on the CD of ‘Butter’, in addition, that the MV lasts 5 minutes is also a disadvantage so the number of views is not good as expected.
Anyway, the achievement of ‘Permission to Dance’ also changed the ranking of Top 10 Kpop MVs reaching 100 million views fastest. Check out the latest chart updates below.
Note: The special point is that except for the 10th place, the 9 Kpop MVs leading the rankings below are also the 9 MVs to reach 100 million views fastest by artists worldwide. The 10th place on the general chart of world artists belongs to the Indian MV “Filhaal 2 Mohabbat” by BPRAAK (2 days and 21 hours to reach 100 million views).
If one more K-pop MV reaches the top 10, this general chart will be 100% occupied by Korean artists. In the chart below, only MVs of Kpop artists are mentioned.
