On September 1st, TWICE‘s performance was the opening stage of the 27th “Tokyo Girls Collection” AUTUMN/WINTER 2018 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

In addition,  “Tokyo Girls Collection” is Japan’s biggest fashion festival that is held twice a year since 2005, and the festival is considered to be a trend-setting event by world-wide popuar artists and supermodels.

In the opening session of the festival, TWICE performed the Japanese version of “TT“. They also performed “Dance the Night Away” in Japanese for the first time ever as well. Moreover,  TWICE will release their first Japanese full-length album ‘BDZ‘ on September 12th.  This is the 4th time that TWICE appears on “Music Station” – a Japanese music program, this year, and since their Japanese debut lats year, they have appeared for 6 times, proving that the group is well-loved by Japanese fans.

Meanwhile, TWICE‘s title track “BDZ” in their first full Japanese album means “Let’s move forward by breaking down the big walls like a bulldozer.” With Park Jinyoung, the CEO of JYP Entertainment, composed and wrote the title song, the “Best of Best” combination featuring “Park Jinyoung X TWICE” is expected to make a hit in the Japanese market.

To promote the release of “BDZ“, TWICE will hold their first Arena Tour with 9 concerts in four Japanese cities, titled “TWICE 1st ARENA TOUR 2018” The tour will begin with concerts in the Chiba Makuhari Hall on  September 29th and 30th, then in the Nippon Gaishi Hall on October 2nd and 3rd, in the Hyogo Kobe World Memorial Hall on October 12th and 13th, and Tokyo Main Arena on September 16th and 17th.
