TWICE introduces immersive virtual world “TWICE Square” on global platform Roblox

On the 8th, the top global K-pop girl group, Twice, unveiled “Twice Square,” an immersive virtual world within the global platform Roblox, which is shared by tens of millions of users.

Developed by the studio Karta, “Twice Square” is drawing attention as the first fan hub to be introduced on Roblox.

In particular, Twice Square is a space for creativity and mutual exchange. Through interactive experiences, fans are expected to connect with each other and communicate with Twice more deeply. Moreover, this virtual world is a creatively expanded space that reminds fans of Twice, featuring colorful hues related to Twice’s activities and introducing items related to their world. Twice Square is a permanent space that will continuously introduce interesting new features for fans to immerse themselves in the world of Twice in various ways on the creative and self-expressive Roblox platform.

Together with the launch of Twice Square, Twice will introduce two mini-games: “Set Me Free,” an escape game inspired by the title track of their new album “Ready to be,” and a general knowledge quiz that tests fans’ knowledge about Twice, which must be completed within a set time limit while defying gravity.

Fans can collect or trade items, including plushies that symbolize Twice members. They can also purchase avatar clothing items that reflect members’ real-life looks, as well as emoticons inspired by the group’s most popular dance moves. Fans can leave messages for the members in Twice Square, take selfies at the selfie station to share on social media, and easily check the latest Twice-related news.

Meanwhile, on March 10 at 2 p.m. EST, Twice will release their 12th mini-album “Ready to be” and the title track “Set Me Free.” The comeback title track “Set Me Free” was composed by Melanie Fontana and Lindgren, who also wrote “I Can’t Stop Me,” “Cry For Me,” and “Scientist,” with additional lyrics by Star Wars* (GALACTIKA*) who worked on “Heart Shaker.”

Twice will also embark on their fifth world tour, “Twice 5th World Tour ‘Ready to be,'” starting from Seoul on April 15-16, followed by 17 solo concerts in 14 cities across Australia, Japan, and North America. Notably, they will become the first K-pop girl group to perform at a Japanese stadium with concerts at Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium in May. In the United States, they will also perform at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles in June and the MetLife Stadium in New York in July, shining as “stadium artists.”
