Nayeon’s solo debut album “IM NAYEON” has exceeded 500,000 copies in pre-orders.
As of June 23rd, right ahead of official release, the total number of pre-orders for TWICE Nayeon’s solo album has exceeded 500,000 physical copies.
Nayeon will release her first solo album “IM NAYEON” at 1 p.m on June 24th (KST), which will feature the title song “POP!”.
In her promotions for this solo album, Nayeon will start with an appearance on the Korean musi show “Music Bank”, before moving on to “Show Champion”, “Music Core”, and “Inkigayo”.
The female idol will also present “POP!” to American viewers. On the morning of June 25th, Nayeon will appear on the popular US music program MTV Fresh Out Live, unveiling the energy and lively choreography of “POP!”.
“POP!”, like its title, is a song that makes full use of Nayeon’s unique popping and refreshing charms. Famous composers and producers, such as KENZIE, Hayden Chapman, and LDN Noise, also participate in the track.
Meanwhile, the lyrics of “POP!” describes the act of bursting another’s heart like a bubble. Coupled with an addictive melody, “POP!” will become a perfect summer song.
Describing Nayeon’s high-anticipated debut as a solo artist. JYP Entertainment said: “Nayeon has accumulated musical capabilities for seven years since her debut. She will show her true value as a solo artist through this work.“
Nayeon’s first solo album is titled “IM NAYEON”, which has a dual meaning of “Im Nayeon” – Nayeon’s full name and “I’m Nayeon”. For this release, Nayeon participated in writing the lyrics for several songs and also invited feature artists like Felix of Stray Kids and Wonstein.
