Attention is being drawn to a recent photo of the famous girl group TWICE with one member missing.

On the 22nd, singer and head of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin Young, released several photos of artists under his agency who visited his concert, along with the caption, “Thank you (for) coming out^^ (I received) So much boost from your presence!♡♡”

Among the published photos, there was one showing Park Jin Young along with the members of TWICE

On this day, the members visited the concert venue of Park Jin Young while dressed in comfortable plain clothes. The members stood side by side with Park Jin Young at the center, exuding a joyous atmosphere. However, member Jeongyeon could not be found in the shot, raising curiosity.

An overseas fan even commented under the post, asking “WHERE IS JEONGYEON” and received hundreds of likes. Meanwhile, others speculated that Jeongyeon might not have been able to attend due to personal schedules. The photo itself also drew a lot of attention, and was spread through various online communities.

On the other hand, Jeongyeon updated her current situation on December 23rd by posting a photo of Christmas cookies on her Instagram story without any captions.

Jeongyeon’s current situation was captured on the SNS of other TWICE members as well. For example, Jihyo and Nayeon showed off the cookies they received from Jeongyeon on their Instagram story.

On the other hand, Twice plans to continue their busy activities in 2023 by releasing new songs. It was announced on December 21st that TWICE will drop a pre-release English single in January 2023, followed by their 12th mini-album in March.

2022 was a year of great success for TWICE, who recorded 289.41 million streams in the US on music platform Spotify. In addition, member Nayeon succeeded in entering the Top 10 of the US Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200” through her first solo album, which was released back in June.

On the other hand, TWICE’s latest album “Between 1 & 2”, which was released in August, sold 100,000 copies (combined physical albums and streaming) in the US based on the Billboard chart, and ranked 3rd on the Billboard 200. The album’s title song “Talk That Talk” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming TWICE’s 21st MV to surpass the 100 million mark.
