Many idols have embarked on producing music over the years, but who is the one that owns the most copyrights?
More and more idols are involved in producing music, making the Kpop market become more distinctive and attractive. On September 30th, the Korean Music Copyright Association announced the list of idols with the highest number of songs under their own names. These idols have taken part in writing, producing and / or writing lyrics. Here’s the results:
1. G-DRAGON (BIGBANG)
Known as “a genius in making music”, the BIGBANG’s leader has 172 songs copyrighted under his name
2. Junhyung (HIGHLIGHT)
Who knows that Junhyung’s hard work has helped him own 150 songs that are copyrighted under his name
3. Ravi (VIXX)
Ravi is also a famous idol with his producing talents. He has 121 songs copyrighted
4. Zico (Block B)
Zico ranked 4th with 120 songs under his name

6. RM (BTS)
The leader of the talented group BTS has 110 songs under his name . Most of BTS’s songs has a part of his production. He is also the only representative of the group in top 10
7. Ilhoon (BTOB)
Not many people know Ilhoon is a “master” of composing as he has 90 songs copyrighted.
8. Yonghwa (CNBLUE)
Yonghwa composed and named 87 songs
9. Junho (2PM)
Junho has 81 songs under his name
10. Jonghyun (SHINee), Jooheon (MONSTA X)
SHINee’s talented past member Jonghyun left 79 songs sunder his name for fans
Jooheon also has 79 songs, along with SHINee Jonghyun
11. Jun K (2PM), J-Hope (BTS)
After his groupmate Junho, Jun K has 78 songs under his name
BTS’ main dancer ranked the same spot as Jun K with 78 songs
12. Suga (BTS)
The ARMYs’ beloved Agust D has 76 songs under his name
13. Minwoo (Shinhwa)
1st generation of idol – Shinhwa’s member Minwoo has 74 songs
14. Woozi (SEVENTEEN)
Although being a member of SEVENTEEN’s vocal team, he also composes songs and he has already got 72 songs
15. Minhyuk (BTOB)
