Before the year ends, KingChoice, an international voting website for fans of the Hallyu wave, held a survey for the most loved Korean dramas in 2021. With more than 4.3 million votes, here is the list of 8 most outstanding Korean TV series released in 2021 as voted by international fans.
1. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
Topping the survey with a total of 4,302,515 votes, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is definitely one of the most popular and successful romantic comedy K-dramas in 2021. With a healing, drama-free plot, solid acting and sweet chemistry between the main couple Shin Min Ah – Kim Seon Ho, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha also made it into the Top 10 dramas on cable television with the all-time highest premiere ratings.
2. Mr. Queen
Historical drama Mr. Queen ranks second in the poll with a total of 4,057,911 votes. Entering the list of highest-rated dramas in the history of cable TV at No.7, Mr. Queen depicts the hilarious romance between the free-spirited queen Kim So Yong (Shin Hye Sun) and King Cheoljeong (Kim Jung Hyun).
