The ranking of idol group brand reputations for May has been revealed.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted a total of 81,963,585 pieces of big data on idol group brands from the 25th of last month to the 25th of this month for the analysis of idol group brand reputation. Compared to the previous month’s 79,961,820 pieces of brand big data, this is an increase of 2.51%. The analysis result shows that BTS took the first place.
The brand reputation index for BTS, who recorded the first place, was analyzed to be 6,638,894 with a participation index of 504,210, a media index of 1,502,992, a communication index of 2,030,052, and a community index of 2,601,641. Compared to last month’s brand reputation index of 8,645,890, it decreased by 23.21%.
BLACKPINK, who took second place in the brand ranking, had a participation index of 325,458, a media index of 1,148,982, a communication index of 1,757,698, and a community index of 2,084,332, resulting in a brand reputation index of 5,316,470. Compared to last month’s brand reputation index of 7,136,906, it decreased by 25.51%.
IVE rose to third place with a participation index of 858,382, a media index of 1,043,245, a communication index of 1,536,320, and a community index of 1,588,738, resulting in a brand reputation index of 5,029,970. Compared to last month’s brand reputation index of 5,717,670, it decreased by 12.18%.
Chang-hwan Koo, the director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, analyzed the brand reputation rankings of idol groups for this month and said, “BTS brand recorded the first place in the brand reputation rankings of idol groups for this month. When comparing it to last month’s idol brand big data of 79,960,182 pieces, there was an increase of 2.51%. In detailed analysis, brand consumption increased by 13.47%, brand issues increased by 20.48%, brand communication increased by 9.30%, and brand expansion decreased by 11.58%.”
He added, “The brand BTS, which ranked first in the idol group brand reputation rankings for this month, showed high scores for ‘achievement, winning, and revealing’ in the link analysis. In the keyword analysis, ’10th-anniversary commemorative medal, The Planet, Billboard’ showed high scores. In the positive-negative ratio analysis, it recorded a positive ratio of 87.56%.”
