In the memory of many generations, the drama called “Boys over Flowers” seems to have just been released a few years ago.

Today 10 years ago, January 5th 2009, the drama “Boys over Flowers” (BOF) was aired as the Korean version of the Japanese “Hana Yori Dango”. The drama quality was doubted by many fans of the original series. After 25 episodes in 3 months from Jan 5th to March 31st 2019, the drama was a big succeed not just in South Korea but all over Asia.
At that time, this drama created such a big wave making Asian youth went crazy for the school Shinhwa which is the school of the richest kids in South Korea. Extravagant buildings, dazzling oufits from the drama made every one its fans. The F4 became the beauty standard and even after all those years, people still mention the phrase “as handsome as F4”. Not stopping there, the school uniform of BOF was also a hot item to Asian youth at that time and became a trend in school fashion.
BOF was also the launcher for many young actors/actresses to become an A-grade star just in one night.
