Han Seo Hee, a former singer trainee who was sentenced to prison for drug use, filed a mass complaint against malicious commenters who slandered and ridiculed her.
According to the police on March 24th, Han Seo Hee’s side filed a complaint with the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station earlier this month on defamation charges against posters who made malicious comments on articles about her drug use.
Han Seo Hee’s side filed a complaint against malicious commenters with police stations across the country, including Seoul Seongdong Police Station and Seoul Songpa Police Station, since around October last year.
It is said that the number of malicious comments posted on portal site articles related to Han Seo Hee’s trial for drug use exceeded 200.
The police are continuing their investigation by handing over the case to police stations across the country based on commenters’ addresses.
Meanwhile, Han Seo Hee was put on trial on charges of administering methamphetamine and amphetamine at an officetel in Jungnang-gu, Seoul in July 2021.
On March 21st, the Supreme Court confirmed the original judgment, which sentenced Han Seo Hee to 6 months in prison for drug use.
Previously, Han Seo Hee was handed over to trial on charges of administering methamphetamine in March 2021 and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by the Supreme Court in July last year.
Besides, she was indicted on charges of smoking marijuana with BIGBANG T.O.P in 2016. After that, she was sentenced to 3 years in prison, 4 years of probation, a 120-hour drug treatment lecture and an additional fine of 870,000 won.
