Jisoo of BLACKPINK is a talented female idol, who has shown her capabilities through various genres like music, fashion, modeling, acting, and hosting. Through each and every couple, this “visual goddess” of YG constantly seeks to improve herself and grow her passion about different crafts.
On August 19th, BLACKPINK officially returned to the Kpop industry with their pre-release single “Pink Venom”, and in this MV, Jisoo managed to impress with various iconic looks. A scene where she played the traditional Korean instrument Geomungo also went viral across the net.
What makes this even more impressive is that Jisoo actually learns to play the instrument to perfect this scene. Speaking about this, Park Cheon Kyung, Jisoo’s Geomungo teacher, said: “I wonder if she were a good student, as she just absorbs and learns things surprisingly fast. Even while she was filming and the director made a sudden change, she just executed things perfectly without any struggle at all. I believe she’s a true genius.”
In other BLACKPINK products, Jisoo also never failed to show her passion and đecication. For example, she recorded hundreds of whistling sounds to use for “Whistle”, and in the filming for “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, she did not hesitate to act out the scene where she had to fall in heels.
