The first trial sentence for B.I, who allegedly attempted to purchase drugs, will be announced today.
According to the Criminal Agreement 25-3 of the Seoul Central District Court, the sentencing hearing trial for B.I, who was accused of violating the Narcotic Control Act, will be held at 1:50 PM KST today (September 10).
B.I was accused of purchasing LSD through his A, an acquaintance, from April to May 2016 and using some of them. After the incident was reported, B.I withdrew from iKON and terminated his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment.
At the resolution hearing held on the 27th of last month, the prosecutor stated, “The defendant has benefited greatly from his entertainment activities for 3 years after his crime.” and demanded a sentence of 3 years in prison and a fine of 1.5 million won for B.I.
In his final statement during the previous trial, B.I said, appealing for leniency: “In the future, I want to live a life that I would continue to reflect and looking back on myself”
