The netizen who claimed to be sued by BLACKPINK Jisoo’s side is suspected to have forged the document

It turned out that the photo released by a netizen claiming that they got sued for posting malicious comments towards BLACKPINK Jisoo was likely to have been fabricated.

Recently, an article titled “I think I got sued by a celebrity. I have some questions” was posted on the online community DC Inside. The post’s author A released a photo of the attendance request they received from Jisoo’s representative. In the request form, some malicious comments written by A were listed.

A said, “When I came home today, I received a document sent from the police station. I’m not sure if I wrote those (comments) with my mobile IP or my home IP but I think I used the mobile IP. If I say I didn’t do it at the investigation, will the prosecution be suspended?”, asking, “How much will it be if I get fined for the first time?”

However, netizen B raised suspicions about the credibility of this attendance request. B said, “Official documents can only be sent by mail or registry. They don’t send A4 paper in a folded form like this. In the attendance request form, the suspect and the reference person’s names were written alternately without being distinguished from each other.”

B said, “The law’s name was also wrong”, and gave the correct name. B continued, “The form is also inconsistent. In addition, when asked to show the envelope from the court to certify its credibility, the author deleted the article”, claiming that the post was fabricated.

If A actually faked the document to make it look like it was sent from the court, they could be punished for forgery of official documents. According to Article 225 of the Criminal Act, forgery or alteration of official documents can result in imprisonment for up to 10 years.
