“The Man of Records”, BTS’s Jimin achieved new peaks with the song “Filter”

“Jimin’s power” has been proved once again by the double records that he achieved today on Spotify and Youtube

On August 13, the solo song “Filter” of Jimin (BTS) surpassed 187 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform.

“Filter” is the solo track of Jimin in BTS’s 4th full album: “Map Of The Soul: 7” released in February last year. The song has recently surprised everyone for becoming the non-promotional Korean b-side track that was most streamed on Spotify.

Within 440 days after its release, “Filter” recorded 150 million streams, becoming the fastest solo track and b-side track of a male singer to reach 150 million streams on Spotify.

According to the figure recorded last July, “Filter” was listened to 12,259,783 times, making it the most-streamed b-side track on Spotify that month. This record also proves the popularity of the singer as it was called Jimin’s Power”.

Moreover, on the same day, “Filter” also broke the record for the most-viewed Korean solo songs on Youtube, with its official audio track exceeded 66 million streams.
