“The late Lee Ji Han left 10 scenes”… EP Kim Ho Joon commemorates the Itaewon October 29th disaster
MBC’s EP Kim Ho Joon commemorated the late actor Lee Ji Han.
On Dec 30th, the “2022 MBC Drama Awards” was held at MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Broadcaster Kim Seong Joo and singer-actress Choi Soo Young hosted the show.
“Big Mouth” won “Drama of the Year”. The viewership rating of the final episode of “Big Mouth” was 13.9% in the metropolitan area and 13.7% nationwide, breaking its own record and ranking first among dramas that aired at the same time. MBC Drama Studio’s EP (Executive Producer) Kim Ho Joon said, “There are many mini-series that only air for about 2 months, but the actual preparation period is several years. ‘Big Mouth’ had been prepared for quite a long time. Many works are going through the same preparation period.“
He shared his thoughts, “I would like to express my gratitude as an EP for being invited to such an honorable place. I want to tell viewers, ‘You’ve done a great job watching ‘Big Mouth’.’“
He congratulated and thanked the director, writer, production company, filming staff and actors.
He added, “I hope that 2023 will be a peaceful year where Park Chang Ho (Lee Jong Suk) can live comfortably, and Ko Mi Ho (Im Yoon Ah) does not need to shed tears. MBC dramas will also move forward in line with ‘Big Mouth’.“
