The released character posters capture the various emotions of those who have endured polar nights without the midnight sun and those who have lived their lives in rampage.

First of all, the cold yet hot faces of the victim regiment, consisting of Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hyun) and Hyeon Nam (Yeom Hye Ran), attract attention. Dong Eun’s character poster phrase “For your eventual destruction. For my eventual corruption” is a line in the letter from Dong Eun to Yeon Jin.

Yeo Jeong’s phrase “I’ll do it. Which of them should I kill first?” stands out. Lee Do Hyun, who expressed Yeo Jeong as “a character that is unclear but has something certain”, forms a relationship like solidarity or love with Dong Eun in the drama. Director Ahn Gil Ho said, “Dong Eun and Yeo Jeong are people who live with deep scars. I think there will be bright parts when the two meet, but there will also be many lonely parts.

Hyeon Nam becomes a “glory” to Dong Eun as a helper who has her own wounds and is deeply in solidarity with Dong Eun. Yeom Hye Ran raised viewers’ expectations as she revealed, “Dong Eun is the first person to show a sincere smile to Hyeon Nam.

Attention is also focused on the perpetrator group, which is the target of cold revenge. The innocent lines of Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), Choi Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young) and Son Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo) stimulate prospective viewers’ anger. At the same time, the perpetrator group’s anxious faces, which are contrary to their lines, arouse curiosity about how desperate and cruel Dong Eun’s planned bloody revenge will be.
