The names on the list have long been appreciated
KpopStarz recently had an article about 15 idol groups with the strongest vocal lines in Kpop.
KpopStarz is introduced as the most comprehensive Kpop news website in the US, with about 2.5 million likes on Facebook. KpopStarz’s post not only attracted the attention of international Kpop fans, but also attracted the attention of the Knets and spread on Korean online forums.
In no particular order, here are 15 idol groups with the strongest vocal lines in Kpop selected by Kpopstarz:
- Super Junior – Super Junior-K.R.Y (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook và Yesung)

It can be seen that all 15 groups mentioned above are always highly appreciated for their vocal ability as well as singing live on stage. Their performances not only make fans proud, but also receive a lot of praise from non-fans and netizens. In particular, SM Entertainment continues to prove their position as the leading entertainment company in the field of training for excellent vocals for Kpop. Almost all SM groups are in the list of idol groups with strong vocal lines, from gen 2 idols like SNSD or Super Junior to the newest idol group NCT. In addition, many people also realize the absence of the three most popular Kpop groups (BTS, TWICE and BLACKPINK) in the above list. Even if they have good achievements that have set impressive records over the years, these 3 groups still cannot put their names on the list of idol groups with highly appreciated vocal lines. However, the absence of BTS, TWICE, and BLACKPINK doesn’t not make Korean netizens too surprised. On the contrary, many comments also praised KpopStarz’s choice when they ignored the popularity and judged on the talent of the groups.
Do you agree with the list selected by KpopStarz? What other groups do you think deserves to be named on this list?
