The assault on THE EASTLIGHT members who are all minors has remained a hot topic. The boys have filed a lawsuit against their manager and their producer, and a courtroom to reach the truth will then follow.

On October 26th, Lee Seokcheol and Lee Seunghyun attended the police station for the police questioning regarding the lawsuit. Lee Seokcheol, who appeared in front of reporters the first, almost burst into tears while saying “I am exhausted, it’s just unbearable. I am so scared things will just be like yesterday.”

The head of the agency Kim Changhwan who has turned a blind eye to the abuse was also sued. When asked about their CEO, the brothers who came out of the police station after a 5-hour-police questioning said, “He was never a father figure. To him, we are only business products.”

The CEO once promised them to make sure that there would be no recurrence of the abuse, however, the abuse continued endlessly. Lee Seunghyun said “He sworn at me, telling me that I was a dumb child.”, “It was so hard for me that I even thought of drowning myself in the Han River.”

Currently, the company has terminated the contracts with the other 4 members of THE EASTLIGHT, including the member who was abused since he was in middle school Lee Woojin. Lee Seokcheol said, “I couldn’t even cry, I just thought that I could tolerate it.” “After the press conference, I couldn’t contact the other four members. I didn’t have enough courage to do it.”

For now, the other 4 members are reportedly going to take part in the investigation. Everyone is supporting the 6 young boys who had nothing but their love and dreams for music, to finally be able to speak their voice about the truth.
