The center of NMIXX is revealed: Is her visual and talent on par with TWICE’s Nayeon and ITZY’s Ryujin?
The official positions of members of NMIXX – JYP’s new girl group have been revealed. Among which, the center garners the most attention.
JYP‘s upcoming girl group – NMIXX – is the rookie that attracts the most attention of Kpop fans this February. NMIXX will officially debut on February 22 with the album AD MARE and the title track O.O. On February 7, JYP‘s highly anticipated rookie had their first public group schedule on the entertainment show Weekly Idol.
Before the recording for Weekly Idol began, NMIXX had a 5-minute live broadcast to introduce themselves and greet the viewers. Through this broadcast, each member revealed their position in the lineup.
At 0AM KST on February 8, JYP also released the first concept photo of NMIXX for their debut single. Based on NMIXX‘s standing position in the aforementioned live broadcast as well as in the teaser photo, fans believe NMIXX’s official center is Jinni.
As expected by fans, Jinni is the member that JYP chose for this important position. Earlier in the introductory video series released in August 2021, Jinni was also one of the members given the most screen time.
As the next generation center of JYP after TWICE’s Nayeon and ITZY’s Ryujin, fans are looking forward to Jinni‘s charisma and talent. In terms of visuals, she once caused a fever when appearing in the pre-debut dance video with the nickname “pink pants girl“. In the debut trailer, Jinni also made an impression in a brand new hair color, showing off her sharp beauty. Taking on all 3 roles of vocal, dance and rap, Jinni is currently the most multi-talented member of the group. With excellent choreography and charming vocals, it seems that Jinni will be a shining star in the NMIXX’s lineup, worthy of the center title of the JYP‘s girl group.
