Taking off hanbok, “The Red Sleeve” Lee Se-young exudes sophistication in new pictorial

Actress Lee Se-young made a 180-degree transformation.

Lee Se-young recently had a photo shoot with fashion and lifestyle magazine Allure Korea. In the published photo, Lee Se-young was wearing sparkling eye makeup with intense glitter. In another image, she exuded sophistication with a white dress as long as a makeup style that actively used shimmers. Her black long jacket also attracted attention.

In an interview conducted along with the photo shoot, Lee Se-young expressed her deep affection for the character Deok-im in MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “The Red Sleeve”, “I’m living as one heart, one mind and one body with Deok-im.” When asked by a reporter, “It’s heartbreaking to think about the fate of Ui-bin Seong in history and I’m curious about how far she will show in the drama”, she replied, “Drama doesn’t only show happy sides. Actually, I did it because of that part. It’s so salty. I know. If you watch it till the end, you will have tears in your eyes.”

Regarding her plans for the new year, Lee Se-young said, “Next year, I want to exercise more healthily as I planned. I decided to form a climbing club with my friends. I think we need to play healthily while climbing together and train physically. Meanwhile, Lee Se-young took on the role of Seong Deok-im in “The Red Sleeve”. In this work, she earned the nickname “Human ink painting” by beautifully digesting a court lady’s costumes.
