Lisa (BLACKPINK) and Taeyang (BIGBANG): From Backup Dancer to Co-Star, a Decade in the Making

Taeyang released a new video teaser, featuring BLACKPINK Lisa, signaling a powerful combination. 

On April 20th at 1 p.m. (KST), The Black Label posted a performance video teaser on their official YouTube Channel titled “Shoong!”. The video features Taeyang and BLACKPINK Lisa in hip outfits.

In the released performance video, Taeyang and Lisa gave off a hip swag through spectacular performances and dynamic movements. Expectations are high as to how Taeyang’s unique and cool vocals will combine in harmony with Lisa’s flexible moves and strong choreography skills.

Taeyang’s “Shoong!” (feat. LISA of BLACKPINK) is an R&B trap song that combines addictive melodies with trendy hip-hop beats. Previously, Taeyang released “VIBE” featuring Jimin of BTS, garnering impressive digital achievements. Fans are looking forward to his comeback with BLACKPINK Lisa and the color they will bring. 

Especially, Shoong! is also a project marking the reunion of Taeyang and Lisa after 10 years. In 2013, before debuting, Lisa appeared as a dancer in Taeyang’s solo MV Ringa Linga. As colleagues in this collaborative project of the senior artist, the two promise to be a highly anticipated project by the public.
