Two top stars meeting in secret last year: Taeyang disclosed his feelings upon coming back after 6 years 

Taeyang revealed his emotions behind the making of “VIBE.” 

On January 28th, MBC’s “Omniscient Interfering View” showed Taeyang preparing for a comeback with his manager, who has worked with him for 12 years. 

On this episode, Jun Hyun-moo introduced, “Taeyang, who made a comeback in six years, said he would do ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ if he had only one entertainment program,” drawing cheers.

In response, Taeyang said that he had taken a quite long hiatus and was ready to return with the help of his manager. After a long while of no activities, the singer expressed his nervousness, stating that he felt like “starting again” with this return. 

Nonetheless, Yang Se-hyung offered his words of compliment, saying the “VIBE” M/V actually reached 20 million views a day after its release. 

In reply, Taeyang said he was “deeply moved” by the outcome and also credited BTS Jimin as a factor of this success. He recalled the process, “I met [Jimin of BTS] at various events and dinners. When I asked him what he thought about doing this kind of music together, he said he liked it so much! We came to the studio, listened to music, and worked on it together, and “VIBE” came out.”
