Surpassing BTS at #2 and Lim Young Woong at #3, No.1 on March Star Brand Brand Reputation rankings is…? 

Not BTS, this global star topped this month’s brand reputation rankings for all celebrities. 

On March 30th, the Korean Business Research Institute announced, “As a result of big data analysis of brand reputation for all stars in March 2022, soccer star Son Heung Min took first place, the second place was BTS, and the third place was Lim Young Woong.”

Star brand reputation analysis was conducted on entertainers, singers, trot singers, drama actors, movie actors, boy groups, girl groups, and sports players.

This month’s Top 30 are Son Heung Min, BTS, Lim Young Woong, IU, (G)I-DLE, Yoo Jae Suk, Girls’ Generation, Red Velvet, Park Gun, TWICE, EXO, Lee Chan Won, Taeyeon, Black Pink, Son Ye Jin, Ryu Hyun Jin, Apink, NCT, Lee Jung Jae, Kang Daniel, Seventeen, Young Tak, Lee Seung Gi, BTOB, Oh My Girl, WJSN, Gong Yoo, Jay Park, Kim Jong Kook, and Song Hye Kyo.

The rankings were determined by extracting a total brand reputation index of 195,725,085 measured from February 28th to March 30th.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korean Business Research Institute, said, “Son Heung Min, who ranked first, attracted fans’ attention as he played in the World Cup qualifiers and Premier League.”

He added, “BTS communicated with fans through various contents. Lim Young Woong’s brand remained at the top of the music platform thanks to a strong fandom community. Brand reputation is generated through active communication between the brand and fans.”
