Sulli is bashed by Japanese fans for posting a photo of Japanese military sexual slavery victims
Sulli reportedly introduced Japanese military sexual slavery memorial day to fans, which caused Japanese fans to react furiously to her act.
On August 14th, Sulli posted a picture on her Instagram for the day of Japanese military sexual slavery victims (also known as comfort women).
While Korean fans praised Sulli for her act, Japanese fans raised their voices of anger when they saw the post. They are flooding the comment section:
“This is a place for fans from various countries. As her Japanese fan, I feel sad.”
“Are you not going to come to Japan anymore?”
“Don’t come to Japan.”
“Did you know that Japan gave Korea 100,000 yen?”
In addition, they didn’t hesitate to speak ill of Korea, with comments like:
“Korea cannot beat Japan anyway, either technically or economically.”
“The Korean market is so small that you have to rely on Japan.”
“Koreans are pathetic.”
“Korea can’t develop without Japanese help.”
However, a Japanese fan wrote, “It’s natural for a Korean like Sulli to think of the Japanese military sexual slavery problem. I don’t want to criticize her for posting this picture. However, you can’t assume that all Japanese are bad because Japanese soldiers did something wrong in the past”. The person added, “I also think that the old Japanese army was very bad. I’m angry too, but I don’t reflect on myself because I didn’t commit the crime”.
Meanwhile, the Japanese military sexual slavery victims memorial day is on August 14th. The day was established to inform the country about the Japanese crime and remember how much the comfort women suffered.
