Star Brand Reputation Rankings: Lim Young-woong surpassed BTS, Son Heung-min and BLACKPINK to top the chart for 3 consecutive months
Trot singer Lim Young-woong drew attention as he beat out prominent candidates to top the “Star Brand Reputation” chart for 3 months in a row.
The Korean Business Research Institute announced the rankings of “December Star Brand Reputation” on Dec 30th. “Star Brand Reputation” is an analysis of the relationship with consumers through big data reputation algorithms for brands that are at the top of brand reputation, including entertainers, singers, trot singers, drama actors, movie actors, boy groups, girl groups, sportsmen…
Lim Young-woong caught everyone’s eye as he defeated BTS (No.2), Son Heung-min (No.3), BLACKPINK (No.4), Yoo Jae-suk (No.5) and took 1st place.
With a brand reputation index of 11.930.573, he topped the list by a narrow margin with BTS (brand reputation index: 10,139,254) and Son Heung-min (brand reputation index: 7,862,193).
As such, he took the top spot for 3 consecutive months, continuing his aspect as a trending figure. In addition, Lim Young-woong, who successfully completed the KBS year-end special “We’re HERO Lim Young-woong” recently, ranked first in “December Trot Singer Brand Reputation” as well as topped the “Trot Singer Brand Reputation” chart for 12 consecutive months.
The Korean Business Research Institute evaluated the Lim Young-woong brand, “Lim Young-woong is increasing his influence with a strong fandom community.”
