Song Joong Ki and Park So Dam expressed their feelings about hosting the opening ceremony of this year’s Busan International Film Festival.
The 26th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) held at the Film Center in Udong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, today (October 6th), has started.
Song Joong Ki said, “A lot of audiences and movie officials are here attending the ceremony in front of us. I’m so glad to be able to meet and communicate with you directly after a long time.“
He also shared, “I’m moved that we can meet each other in person and not through a video call or the screen. I feel more thankful for this precious daily life moment.“
Park So Dam also said, “I’m really touched to be able to meet everyone in person. I feel so grateful for that. For the past 2 years, not only the film industry but many people must also have had a lot of difficulties due to the sudden spread of the pandemic. I hope the Busan International Film Festival will be a healing time an opportunity to deliver new hopes.“
Meanwhile, at the 26th Busan International Film Festival, 223 officially selected films from 70 countries and 63 Community BIFF screening films will be screened on 29 screens of 6 theaters in Haeundae and Nampo-dong, Busan.
