Song Joong Ki, successful in both love and career… “Reborn Rich” topped the content power index for 5 consecutive weeks
JTBC’s Fri-Sat-Sun drama “Reborn Rich” topped the content power index for 5 consecutive weeks until the end of its airing.
According to the content power index (CPI Powered by RACOI) released by CJ ENM on Dec 26th, “Reborn Rich” took first place in the third week of December (Dec 12th~18th) with 448.0 points.
“Reborn Rich” is a fantasy drama in which Yoon Hyun Woo (Song Joong Ki), a secretary who manages the owner risk of a conglomerate family, returns to life as Jin Do Jun (Song Joong Ki), the youngest son of the same family.
In the last episode of “Reborn Rich”, which aired on Dec 25th, Jin Do Jun woke up as Yoon Hyun Woo in a remote place after he died in a dump truck accident. In the end, the turbulent 17 years of living as Jin Do Jun was a dream that Yoon Hyun Woo had while lying in the hospital room for a week, drawing criticism from viewers for the futile ending.
Still, ‘Reborn Rich’ recorded the highest viewer rating of 26.9% in the last episode, beating ENA’s ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ and ending the drama with the highest viewer rating among the dramas aired this year.

On the 26th, the day after the end of ‘Reborn Rich’, Song Joong-ki officially confirmed his love affair with a British woman, drawing attention as an actor who is successful in both love and work.
2nd place was Mnet’s ‘Show Me the Money’ season 11 with 276.8 points. In 3rd place, tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block‘ rose one notch with 255.3 points.
4th place was occupied by tvN’s Saturday and Sunday drama ‘Glorious Marriage: Light and Shadow’ (254.4), and 5th place was taken by ENA and SBS Plus ‘I’m Solo’ (237.2). Then, MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’, SBS’ ‘Cheer Up‘, ‘Running Man’, MBC’s ‘No Marriage, Joseon Marriage Ban’, and SBS ‘Police Station Next to the Fire Station’ were in the top 10.
