Actor Song Hye-kyo will be on the official stage for the first time since the news of her divorce.
Song Hye-kyo is scheduled to attend a Chinese event for a cosmetics brand she works as a model on July 6th. It is her first public activity since the announcement on June 27th that she is in the process of divorcing Song Joong-ki.
The cosmetics brand recently announced Song Hye-kyo’s attendance at the event through Weibo. As of July 3rd, however, the post has been deleted. It is known that the brand took a considerate step toward Song Hye-kyo, who has been under the public eye for being a top star despite suffering from the personal pain of divorce. Song Hye-kyo will attend the event as scheduled without any changes, a representative for the brand said, adding that details of the event, including the venue and time, cannot be released yet.
Song Hye-kyo in December 2017 was selected to be the model of the aforementioned cosmetics brand and has been active both inside and outside of South Korea. Starting with Hong Kong in August last year, she visited Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand, respectively, in February and April this year. In May, he has played her role as the brand’s model by attending various events, including the opening ceremony of a pop-up store in southern Seoul.
