Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong’s unrivaled couple shot, “I think he’ll be loved wherever he goes”
“Dazed” revealed the cover story with the main couple of “Now We Are Breaking Up” Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong.
The fashion magazine “Dazed,” which presents unique content every month based on fashion and culture, unveiled its winter edition’s cover story with the two main actors of SBS’s upcoming drama “Now We Are Breaking Up” – Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong – in collaboration with Fendi.
The beautiful pictorial, which seems to have brought the drama characters Ha Young-eun and Yoon Jae-guk to life, continued over 30 pages, heralding the story of these two characters which is written as “separation” but read as “love”. The filming was in collaboration with the Capsule collection newly released by Fendi, a global fashion house, to create a sensuous couple look while reviving the individuality of the two actors.
The couple continued to explain their respective roles without hesitation. Song Hye-kyo said, “Young-eun is someone who lived freely without being swayed by her private feelings by keeping everything professional, but love has run back to her. She’s a character who makes wise judgments and thinks healthy. She was a character I should learn from,” she expressed her affection for Young-eun. Jang Ki-yong said, “Jae-guk is full of passion and confidence not only in his life but also in his work. He is cool in front of love, and in many cases he is mature. I had a lot of worries because he was different from all the characters I’ve played so far,” he said, amplifying viewers’ curiosity about his role of Jae-guk.
When asked about the chemistry between the two, Jang Ki-yong said, “To be able to work with Song Hye-kyo was like, what should I say, a very far-away target. It was just amazing since the drama meeting because the picture I had only imagined was drawn into reality a little faster. I just thought I should do well. When Hye-kyo and I stand together, I thought it would be nice to be seen as Ha Young-eun and Yoon Jae-guk, not as seniors and juniors.”
Song Hye-kyo positively lavished praise and encouragement on the appearance of her junior Ki-yong as “Innocent, bright and cheerful.” “Perhaps because he has a bright characteristic, even though he had a hard time filming, he still followed me well until the end. I was able to help without difficulty because he is a mature actor who wouldn’t care about his pride asking questions and asking for help. Ki-yong seems to be loved wherever he goes.”
