Earlier, in an article titled “Why the KDrama ‘Snowdrop’ is EXTREMELY Problematic” on Reddit – a famous U.S. community site, a netizen explained the actual incident (although the production team strongly denied it) that looks similar to the drama’s historical background. This Redditler talked about historical facts in detail, “As a fellow Korean, watching the first episode of the drama was simply painful. It actually hurts. To put it in short words: the very plot & setting in the drama is the very example of distorting history. To put it into context: What would be your reaction if you saw a romance Netflix Series that portrays the Nazis as somewhat likable and glorifies them?

In fact, netizens, who are adding firepower to controversy over the drama’s history distortion, are actively sending emails to Disney+ as well as Disney’s global headquarters to inform them of this fact. Companies that posted sponsorships or advertisements are also announcing their withdrawal one after another.
