SM will take legal action against false rumors about EXO’s relation with Seungri – Jung Joonyoung’s group chat

SM has expressed its strong stance on Seungri and Jung Joon-young’s Kakaotalk situation.

“The contents related to our artists that are currently being circulated online are completely groundless rumors,” SM Entertainment said through its official SNS.

“With the indiscriminate spread of falsehoods, it is becoming a serious detriment to artists and our reputation. In response, we will take legal action against those who have identified illegal acts (writing, posting, and disseminating) without prior consent.”

“We will continue to take strong legal action against such malicious rumors in the future,” the agency added.

Suspicions spread earlier that one of the EXO members belonged to the Kakaotalk chat rooms where Seung-ri and Jung Joon-young are involved in illegal sex filming and sharing.
